Oh, Miss Lavender. Such a huge ego, but with a frightening amount of power to match. O.O
I started this shortly after I started Conejo En Vuelo, but because of a lack of time, energy, and lots of stuff going on at home, I haven't really been able to work on this. The campaign ended two months ago, for crap's sake!
To commemorate the end of the campaign, I figured I'd tool up a pic of what Miss Lavender would look like at the end of it all. We ended up at level... 22, I think. Maybe higher. Anyway, we were epic. And it was good.
We converted to Pathfinder, so I remade her as an Aberrant-blood Sorceress/Warlock/Eldritch Theurge. Oh, the spells per day! Oh the invocations! XD So sweet.
I'll get it out of the way right now: HOLY SHIT did she come out sluttier looking than I'd originally intended. O.O Definitely dressing completely different from the modest, princess-like gear I originally designed for her. In retrospect, I'm not entirely happy with the outfit, and I might re-touch this with a bit more...clothing. Originally, this was supposed to have a somewhat sheer long-skirt hanging all tentacle-like from her, as well, but I couldn't get it to look right, and it was overshadowing the great colouring I got in on the tentacles, so I left it out.
I might try to re-do that skirt and add it in later. Depends on how I'm feeling.
I do like some of the outfit, though. I love her choker, her gloves haven't changed (though the rings on them broke in the final fight), the bodice looks nice, and I am quite happy with what I did for her robe of the archmagi. By the way, that long black thing she has belted around her torso? Yeah, that's it. ^^ Nobody said it had to be worn properly, just that it had to be worn! I had fun with the fabric on that.
The rope on her arm is Carson, an intelligent animated rope she picked up during game, and that's where he usually hangs out, wrapped around her. On her shoulder there is her right eye, under the effects of the invocation Crawling Eye. Now she has a reason to wear her hair over one eye.
I love the way her tentacles came out. They look slick without looking wet, and I'm really happy with it.
Not pictured: Her army of illithid followers which tends to her every whim (and gardens) on her own personal pocket plane.
She didn't get to kill her father, but she did get to choke him a little. He set her up with her own plane, so she's not so out to get him these days.
Finished 06/25/2009. Done in Corel Painter Classic.
I disagree. What with the cloak and the tentacles and the hovering, Miss Lavender has definitely gained the extra half-inch in height she needs to qualify as Epic. Not all epics need to be standing on a pile of rubble and Warjack parts, after all.

If I may make a small critique, the legs look . . . odd. I can definitely see the crossed-leg look you were going for, but the left leg doesn't really look like it follows naturally from her thigh.

Hee-hee! Love them part-mind-flayer tentacled things! Oh that's her eye crawling around?! What if a kitty used it for a toy?? I could see my Greymalkin looking at it and going *glomp* *NOM!*
Love her coloring and costuming, just wonderful work!
Curses, I knew somebody would catch me on it. I couldn't for the life of me get it to look natural. I'm going to go back and see if I can't at least hide it a bit.
Thanks, too! ^^
